This Privacy Policy describes how Stream Bridge Labs ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Stream Bridge Go Live mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
Stream Bridge Labs operates the Stream Bridge Go Live application, a professional live-streaming tool that uses the Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) protocol to broadcast audio and video from your Android device to a configured streaming server.
For privacy-related questions, contact us at streambridgeapps@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
When you register, we collect the following information that you enter into the registration form:
We use this information to create your account, verify your identity, contact you for account-related matters, and provide the streaming service.
Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. Your password is never stored by us in plaintext. Firebase manages the secure storage and verification of your credentials. When you reset your password, the reset is performed through Firebase's secure flow.
To support our single-device-login feature and to provide technical support, we collect:
This is collected when you sign in and stored in your account record. We do not collect persistent hardware identifiers such as IMEI, MAC address, or Android Advertising ID.
When you sign in or start a stream, we capture your approximate location (latitude and longitude). We use this for:
Location is collected at the precision the Android operating system provides; we do not request high-precision GPS unless your device already provides it. You can deny the location permission at any time through your device's Android settings — the App continues to function, but the corresponding administrative features will lack location data.
While you are actively streaming, we record:
We do not capture, record, or retain the audio or video content of your streams. The audio and video data flows directly from your device to the streaming server you have been configured to use; it does not pass through our servers and we have no copy of it.
We use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications about account events (approval, expiry warnings, admin announcements). FCM provides us with a token that identifies your device for this purpose. The token rotates periodically and is automatically deleted from our records when it becomes invalid.
The App requires camera and microphone permissions to capture the audio/video that you broadcast. The captured stream is sent directly to the configured streaming server. We do not record or store this content on our servers.
While streaming, we collect technical diagnostics such as your connection bitrate, network type (Wi-Fi or cellular), and basic connection-quality metrics. This is used to display real-time stream-health indicators in the App and is not transmitted to our servers unless an error occurs.
We share information only with the third-party service providers required to operate the App:
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not share your information with advertisers or marketing networks. We do not display advertising in the App.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or valid legal process; if necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, security incidents, or violations of our terms; or to enforce our rights and protect the safety of our users.
Our backend services are hosted in Google's
asia-south1 (Mumbai, India) region. Firebase and
SendGrid may replicate data globally according to their respective
infrastructure policies.
We implement industry-standard safeguards including:
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at streambridgeapps@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
You can also revoke camera, microphone, or location permissions at any time through your device's Android settings. Some features will be unavailable when permissions are revoked.
The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
The App is available globally on Google Play. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in jurisdictions other than your own, including India where our backend is hosted. We rely on standard contractual safeguards, the privacy commitments of our service providers (Google, Twilio), and applicable data-protection frameworks for international transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
The App may include links to third-party websites or services (such as Google Firebase support pages). This Policy does not apply to those external services; please review their own privacy policies.
